The transnational training course, as part of DiTwin project, was held at the University of Málaga from 14 to 18 July 2025.

The activity brought together two participants per partner organization and offered a shared learning space focused on the use of Digital Twins, robotics, and Industry 4.0 technologies in education and training contexts.

Key Topics and Learning Activities

Over five days, participants explored a range of relevant topics and technologies through lectures, discussions, and practical sessions. The programme included:

  • Digital Twins and Industry 4.0
Introduction to the concept and its industrial applications.
  • Two Round Tables
    • Digital Twins in the Industry
    • The Role of Digital Twins in Education.
  • Practical sessions on robot programming and automation
Hands-on activities guided by UMA staff, focused on basic programming skills and the simulation of robot tasks in an Industry 4.0 environment.
  • 3D Printing
Observations and practice sessions on 3D printing to understand its potential applications in training and prototyping.
  • DiTwin Handbook and Project Work
A dedicated session was held to discuss the structure and content of the DiTwin Handbook, an output in development that will collect tools, methodologies, and recommendations for using Digital Twins in education.
  • Visit to UMA’s Robotics Laboratory
A guided visit allowed participants to better understand current research and practical implementation of robotic systems.
