On 20 and 21 October 2026, the GreenClusivity partnership met in Fano, Italy, for the third Transnational Project Meeting of the project “GreenClusivity: Ecology without gender boundaries”.
Hosted by Learnable, the two-day meeting brought partners together to review the work completed so far, discuss the next stages of the project and coordinate the activities that will accompany GreenClusivity towards its final phase.
GreenClusivity focuses on the connections between environmental sustainability and gender equality, encouraging a better understanding of how environmental challenges and the green transition can affect people differently. The project also aims to make these issues more accessible through educational and communication activities.
Taking stock of the work completed
The first part of the meeting was dedicated to reviewing the overall progress of the project and the results already achieved.
Partners then focused on the activities developed within WP2, including the GreenClusivity infographics. These materials are designed to communicate complex environmental and gender-related topics in a simple and visually engaging way. During the meeting, partners presented the work already developed, reviewed the materials together and identified what still needs to be completed.
The discussion also provided an opportunity to ensure that the different resources remain coherent with the overall aims of the project and understandable for a wider audience, beyond those already familiar with gender and environmental issues.

Moving forward with the project results
During the afternoon, the partners turned their attention to the next steps of WP3 and WP4, with a particular focus on the educational resources and participatory activities being developed within GreenClusivity.
An important part of the discussion concerned the project’s Handbook for educators, which is being developed to help trainers and educators explore the links between gender and environmental issues in an accessible and practical way. Partners shared updates on the content already prepared, discussed the sections still to be completed and coordinated the next steps for its development. The handbook will combine accessible information, examples and practical activities that educators can use to introduce these topics in learning contexts.
The meeting also provided an opportunity to review the work of the “Gender and Environment” working group established in the Czech Republic. The initiative brings together stakeholders from environmental and feminist organisations and creates a space for experts to exchange knowledge and perspectives on the relationship between gender and environmental challenges. A series of expert seminars, both online and in person, has been organised and is continuing as part of this process.

Communicating GreenClusivity in a more engaging way
The second day continued with a focus on WP5, led by Learnable. Partners worked together on the production of short Instagram Reels. The activity provided a more informal way to communicate some of the themes addressed by GreenClusivity and to bring the people behind the project into its social media communication.
Partners also discussed the next communication and dissemination activities, the remaining tasks and the strategy for the months ahead.
The aim is to make the project’s results not only available, but also easier to discover and understand for people who may be approaching the relationship between gender and the environment for the first time.
