  • We may collect your personal data when you contact us for the sign-up of our Newsletters. We use Mailchimp to disseminate our Newsletters.   1. If you register as a learner using any LEARNABLE learning platform.
  • We may collect your name and contact information, including but not limited to name, address, email address and telephone number during your signing up on the learning platform. We use Thinkific platform to deliver online training courses. The processing of your personal data while using Thinkific platform as learner/subscriber will be subject to this privacy policy as well as to the terms and conditions of Thinkific (see https://www.thinkific.com/terms-of-service/).
  • We may use your details to contact you about any relevant LEARNABLE training activities, projects and events.



Under data protection law, we can only process your personal information if we have a proper reason for doing so, e.g.:

  • to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations;
  • for the performance of our contract with you or to take steps at your request before entering into a contract;
  • for our legitimate interests; or
  • where you have given consent such as in the case of specific projects where your data is shared for reporting purposes (for example with the European Commission) and for targeted communications

  • using the ‘unsubscribe’ link in emails/newsletters received via MailChimp;
  • writing a personal message to the data protection officer with the request to remove your data from LEARNABLE’s databases

  • third parties we use to help us run our organisation, e.g. website hosts, third parties related to the delivery of online training course or events);
  • third parties approved by you, e.g. social media sites you choose to link your account to or third-party payment providers;

We also impose contractual obligations on service providers relating to ensuring they can only use your personal data to provide services to us and to you. We may also share personal information with external auditors, e.g. in relation to accreditation and the audit of our projects.

Our Site contains links to third-party websites which are not managed by LEARNABLE. Moreover, any personal data you provide on third-party websites is subject to those third-parties’ privacy policies.  We are not responsible for the practises and policies of such third-party websites.



Personal data may be held at our office and those of our third-party agencies, service providers, representatives and agents as described above.



We will keep your personal data as long as we share information with you and as long as we are providing services to you. Thereafter, we will keep your personal data for as long as is necessary:

  • to respond to any questions, complaints or claims made by you or on your behalf;
  • to show that we treated you fairly;
  • to keep records required by law.

We will not retain your personal data for longer than necessary for the purposes set out in this policy.
