ACTIVE – Promoting ACTIVE and Responsible Citizenship in Schools is a cooperation partnership in the School sector (KA220-SCH) funded by the Erasmus+ programme. The project aims to empower pupils to navigate and make an understanding of the world they live in to enable them to act as active and responsible agents in a democratic society.

Learnable is the partner responsible for organising teacher training (LTTA), which plays a crucial role in the successful implementation of the methodology designed in the Toolkit in real classroom scenarios. The training. scheduled for September, will allow for a better sharing of knowledge from the experts to teachers and school practitioners, as well as better fine-tuning of content and approaches in order to better shape the action in the piloting phase of the project and then refine the entire Toolkit components as a first project result (R1).

On 5 April 2022, the first project kick-off meeting was held in Chrudim (Czech Republic) at the Gymnázium Josefa Ressela (project coordinator). The meeting was run in cooperation with Odpovědná společnost, z. s..

The activities planned for the coming months (e.g. the creation of the Toolkit and the organisation of the LTTA) were discussed, and the technical, scientific and administrative aspects of the project were focused on.

All partners participated by involving members of their staff (European Centre of Entrepreneurship Competence & Excellence – Austria; LEARNABLE SOCIETA’ COOPERATIVA A R.L – Italy; AKADEMIA WSB – Poland; Sukromna zakladna skola Felix – Slovakia).
